I am a psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist specializing in work with adults (17+). My approach is rooted in the transformative power of language and seeks to help people (re)connect with their intuition and creative capacities to engender a fuller, more attuned engagement with life.

As a psychoanalyst, I attend to both the social world and the individual, meaning part of therapy entails exploring the ways our contemporary social world impacts us. I also attend closely to unconscious aspects operating without a person’s knowledge that often result in repetitive patterns one feels helpless to change. This means that I see psychological distress less as faulty brain wiring or a chemical imbalance and more as a response to the very real human issues we each face as we traverse life.
